High Performance Beach Team
New in 2024, the Deadman's Beach elite team is intended for youth beach athletes (12u to 18u) who will be competing on the OVA beach tour and Ontario beach provincials. In our first year we will be limited to 8 girls teams: 4 junior teams (12u to 14u) and 4 senior teams (15u to 18u). Team fees are TBD and will include 2 days of training per week with qualified coaches (low ratio) and a Deadman's Beach jersey. We will also have guest coaches join us when available, including former and current national beach team members. Tournaments
The premier event at Deadman's Beach is the annual Myers Kanata Hyundai King of the Beach invitational. We have also hosted several other invitational tournaments in the past. With the second court being added in 2024 we will be able to host bigger and better tournaments throughout the summer. Development Camps
2024 will see the addition of youth beach development camps to our summer programming. These half-day sessions will be geared towards youth athletes who are new to the sport of beach volleyball and also those with some experience who are looking to take their game to a more competitive level. Indoor club level players looking to improve their individual skills and fitness to get ready for the indoor season will also find value in these sessions. As new dates are available, they will be announced on our social media and via our newsletter (sign up below) - so be on the lookout.
