Our Purpose
At Deadman's Beach, the goal is simple: help grow the game of beach volleyball and make an impact. What started as a single court in a Kanata backyard is growing with a purpose. Deadman's Beach is operated as a not-for-profit with all net proceeds from gear sales, youth club team and other programing used to help grow the game. Our Story
Built in 2020, the Deadman's Beach backyard court quickly became one of the best places to play and train in the city. Known for the deep sand, great competition and the great crew of players that come and enjoy the vibes. From these humble beginnings, Deadman's Beach has grown into something so much more!

Youth Beach Club
Recognizing the gap for proper beach training in Ottawa, Team Deadman's Beach was first started in 2024 with an initial cohort of 16 athletes. In 2025 we grew to 32 athletes and the demand continues to grow! Interest in joining the team for the best beach training around?
